Offline Cash System – Update 1
Posted on18. Jul, 2010 by ErnieB.
I know its been a while since I said I would be starting to work on my offline system but I have finally gotten a good start. What I am working on is a modified version of the “rent a site” model. I have completed my niche research and promptly purchased a domain and selected a theme to use. Ive been slowly tweaking the theme so its how I want it and I think I finally have finished with that. In the meantime I am having a custom header made for the site and I outsourced some articles. Finally I created some basic pages for the website and I wrote the content for the main page as well as the other pages.
Everything is starting to shape up and I will need to start doing the promoting here in the next week. I actually checked and the site was already indexed and on page 2 of google for the main keyword and I hadn’t even added the content yet at that point. ( No promoting was done yet either. ) For promoting Im going to be doing a little bit of everything…. Bookmarking, blogs, profile links, article marketing, videos, and some other stuff.
So thats all for now on this endeavor. Next time I update I will share some of the specifics I have done for promoting the website.

Better than coupon clipping – Groupon
Posted on14. Jul, 2010 by ErnieB.
I’m not sure how many of you are already aware of Groupon, but i just found out about it recently. It a fantastic idea and can save you potentially 90% off of things you are already doing. Best part is its totally free!
Here’s how it works: You pick your local city and then sign up with your email address. Everyday you will receive an email with that days deal. It will be a local business offering upto 90% off their normal prices. You can get restaurant gift cards for 50%+ off or massages at a deep discount or truly anything. Half the fun is opening the email to see what type of deal you will find for that day.
There is always a minimum required before the deal will actually be sold. For example, there may need to be at least 10 people that purchase the deal for it to actually be valid. If there ends up not being enough interest then no one will actually be charged. There is also sometimes a maximum amount so make sure you get in early!
To sign up ( its totally free ) and to get more specific details on how all of it works just click the ad box over on the right or click here.

The Foundation of a Successful Financial Plan
Posted on05. Jul, 2010 by ErnieB.
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Now that the holiday is over, its time to get back to business. My current financial status is about to become even more of a bad situation so I need to take measures to help improve this. We need to start with the very basics, the actual foundations of a good financial plan. The foundation of a successful financial plan is none other than a budget. Creating and following a budget is an often overlooked tool that is essential for financial success. Below are 12 great reasons you should start using a budget.
1. Family budgets are used as a baseline, analysis-tool and roadmap. It is a useful tool and
guide. It tells you whether you are headed in the direction you want to be headed in financially. It
helps you to move from spending to saving and good fiscal balance, management and
responsibility.
You may have goals and dreams, but if you do not set up guidelines for reaching them and you
do not measure your progress, you may end up going so far in the wrong direction you can never
make it back. Can you imagine the government or a major corporation operating without a
budget? No, and neither should you.
2. It is often described and justified as an empowering enabler. A budget lets you control
your money instead of your money controlling you.
3. A budget is a realistic estimate and true reflection of current circumstance and means, a
type of financial situation-analysis that will tell you if you are living within your means.
Before the widespread use of credit cards, you could tell if you were living within your means
because you had money left over after paying all your bills.
There are lots of family budgeting tools available on line that make it a fun and enjoyable task
and activity, to assess and analyze your family’s financial situation with minimum effort.
There is also lots of free financial software and most of it sets up easily and provides you with a
detailed family budget online. It manages your finances, hassle-free and almost effortless.
Well, almost! It will require input and minimum effort through hands-on involvement in setting
it up, populating, maintaining and editing it. Mvelopes.com is a good example of market
offerings that are available at no cost to you, just waiting for the motivated family budgeter to
embrace and try it out!
Some websites offer free financial newsletters by e-mail, with lots of money saving tips, budget
advice, and other relevant personal and family-related financial information
(www.planabudget.com).
The availability, accessibility, virtual marketplace, ease of use and more of credit cards has
made the need for family budgets much less obvious. Many people do not even realize they are
living far beyond their means until they are knee deep in debt, struggling to make ends meet and
sinking fast into murky financial waters.
Budgeting is and can be a life and money saver, a reality check, BUT ALSO a remedy!
4. A budget can help you meet your savings goals. It includes a mechanism for setting aside
money for savings and investments.
5. Following a realistic budget frees up spare cash so you can use your money on the things
that really matter to you instead of frittering it away on things you do not even remember buying.
6. A budget helps your entire family focus on common goals. It is unifying families in
mutual purpose and effort, working together towards a successful outcome and reward.
7. A budget helps you prepare for emergencies or large or unanticipated expenses that
might otherwise knock you for a loop financially.
8. A budget can improve your marriage. A good budget is not just a spending plan; it is a
communication tool. Done right, a budget can bring the two of you closer together as you
identify and work towards common goals and reduce arguments about money.
9. A budget reveals areas where you are spending too much money, so you can refocus on
your most important goals
10. A budget can keep you out of debt or help you get out of debt.
11. A budget actually creates extra money for you to do use on things that matter to you.
12. A budget helps you sleep better at night because you do not lie awake worrying about
how you are going to make ends meet.

Offline Cash System
Posted on24. Jun, 2010 by ErnieB.
There are so many markets within internet marketing that anyone can work on to start making money online. There is affiliate marketing, adsense sites, flipping sites, building and marketing to a list, offline cash and a ton more. And within these markets there are many different ways to actually work a plan and profit.
I think that offline marketing is probably the hottest and most popular of these niches right now. One of the reasons I think has to do with the fact that you can earn a good amount of money pretty quickly. Depending on exactly how you plan to work within this niche, you could be earning money within a few days.
I am not too comfortable with public speaking so I feel I am at a disadvantage when it comes to most of the offline marketing methods. However, I have found a method which I really like and I can either aquire clients pretty easily via email, telephone or direct mail or I think due to the awesome product I will be offering I dont think most would be able to say no and that will fuel me to be able to speak to them in person.
I am going to target a very specific niche within my local city. The great thing is that once i get this set up I can do the same thing all over for another local city near me. I will become the expert for this one specific niche. I will be able to scale this as big or small as I want by either targeting the same niche within other cities or starting to use the same methods but within a new niche. And if my plan works as I think it will, I should be profiting about $1000 per month per niche.
So here in the next few days I will be getting started and will keep you all posted on how it is going. If everything goes as good as I think it will, I will be putting together a report that will detail exactly what I did and how it all worked. If it doesnt work as planned, I will still be detailing what all I did and why I think it didnt work. Look forward to getting this started and will you guys informed.

Your Productivity – Nifty To-Do List Trick
Posted on19. Jun, 2010 by ErnieB.
I try to accomplish a few tasks each day that are for my internet marketing ventures. I find myself forgetting most days what I wanted to accomplish until its too late in the day. This can either be from being distracted throughout the day with other things or just plain being forgetful. Its funny how once you get on the internet how fast you attention span goes from one thing to the next! lol.
I recently came across a post in a forum I frequent by a gentleman named Mohsin Rasool. He went on to detail a nifty little productivity trick using a to-do list. Basically you create a list or reminder in notepad and set it up so everytime you start up/log onto your computer, that file opens up. Now I will be reminded of things I need to get done BEFORE I get distracted with the internet.
Here’s how you do it:
- Create a reminder or to-do list in notepad and save the file, naming it “Today” or “Reminder” or “To-Do List” or something like that.
- Now go to where ever you saved the file to and right-click on it. Next select to “Send To” and select “Desktop”. This creates a shortcut on your desktop to that text file.
- The final step is to drag and drop that shortcut you just created to your “StartUp” folder. To find your “Start Up” folder in Vista or Windows 7, click on the “Start” button and then select “All Programs”. Now simply scroll down to the “Startup” folder and click it to open it up. If your using Windows XP you can find the folder by directing yourself to this location: C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup ( replace %USERNAME% with the username your logged into your computer with )
Once you got that shortcut moved to the startup folder just “x” out of it and your done. The next time you log onto your computer it will pop up your “To-Do List” file. Make sure you keep the original file in the same location as the shortcut points to it there and if you delete or move it then it wont be able to find it and you will have to create a new shortcut for the files new location.
Pretty nifty little trick I think. Just make sure to edit the file as you complete tasks and add new tasks as you see fit. This will remind you of things you need to get done and hopefully get you to work on them before being sidetracked with other things.
Enjoy!

My Personal Finance Saga – Beating Chexsystems
Posted on17. Jun, 2010 by ErnieB.
My personal finances leave a lot to be desired, lol. I have had problems in the past with my checking accounts and ended up being put into chexsystems. If you dont already know, chexsystems is sort of like a credit bureau but for bank accounts instead of credit. Anytime you end up owing a Bank money or abuse their system, they will put you into chexsystems. Most Banks look in chexsystems to see if you are in there before they will let you open an account with them. If you are in there then they wont let you open an account! Once your in there its really hard to get out, even if you have paid or taken care of your obligations. It can take several years before your removed from chexsystems.
I was fortunate to find a local bank that allowed me to open an account even though I was in chexsystems. There are a few out there but they are hard to find. In the mean time I am getting a copy of my chexsystems report and will be working to get myself removed. I will update my progress so you all can follow along. If anyone else is in the same situation, feel free to comment below. I may be able to share with you a couple banks you may be able to get an account at while you work to get out of chexsystems yourself.
The next personal finance issues I will be figuring out will be my credit issues and working on them. Till next time….

My first journey to success – Power 90 Fitness Program P90
Posted on16. Jun, 2010 by ErnieB.
I decided to start my journey to live life for success by getting myself into shape. I have pretty much always been “husky”, even when I was in the army. My weight has been as high as 260lbs but seems to be hovering around 240lbs lately. And while I dont think you should measure your progress by your weight ( because muscle weighs more than fat; a 250lb weightlifter is in better shape than a 200lb desk jockey ), I want to get myself down to about 200lbs. Thats 40 pounds i intend to lose, while also getting myself into better shape.
The generic consensus is that 2-3 pounds a week is a safe amount to lose. I think I will be losing more than that, especially in the beginning weeks when my body is being shocked due to not having done exercise in years. However, If I only lose the safe 3 pounds per week during the 90 day program ( approx. 12 weeks ) I will almost achieve my goal of 40 lbs of weight loss.
I’m sure most people have heard of the latest fitness sensation of the P90x program. I have researched and found tons of satisfied users with awesome stories to tell and pictures to show. That program is actually based upon the Power 90 program ( P90 ) and takes it a step further. I have decided to start my journey with the Power 90 program because I feel my body is just not ready for the intensity required for the P90x program. For one, I cannot do any pull ups which are a part of the exercise program. I want to start with a program that is more for a newcomer but still will provide the results I’m looking for. Don’t underestimate the P90 program because it is the program that the P90x is actually based off of. I will be ordering this program this week and hope to be getting started as soon as the last week of June.
Once I begin my journey to live life for success with my body, I will try to keep you guys up to date at least once a week with my progress.
